President U Htin Kyaw welcomes Sweden’s Parliament Speaker Mr. Urban Ahlin.
President U Htin Kyaw received Speaker of the Swedish Parliament H.E. Mr. Urban Ahlin and his delegation at 4 pm yesterday at the Credentials Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to friendship and promoting cooperation, enhancing the economic co-operation between Sweden and Myanmar in the metal and forestry sectors, Sweden’s support for Myanmar’s peacemaking process and the building of a democratic nation and providing assistance for the development of the state.
Also present at the meeting were Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U T Khun Myat, Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Thar Aung, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Nai Thet Lwin, Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Maung Maung Win and officials.
