Under the arrangement of Myawaddy Media Group, a talk on Rakhine Issue and Security Outlook was held at Mini Theatre Room of the Defence Services Museum in Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area yesterday morning.
At the talk, international affairs researcher U Ko Ko Hlaing, head of French Institute of Asian Studies (EFEO) Dr. Jacques P. Leider and two from French Cultural Center discussed under the title of historical backgrounds, Rakhine affairs turning into a battle, comparing the Rakhine area events with international events and how to resolve the problems from the view point of national security.
The talk was attended by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, high ranking officers from commander-in-chief office, Nay Pyi Taw command commander, high ranking officers from National Defense College, political researchers, historians, interested personnel in politics, nationalism and Rakhine affairs and media personnel while political researchers and historians also join the discussion.
