Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw U Win Myint received UN Resident Coordinator Ms. Renata Dessallien who had completed her tour of duty at the guest room of Pyithu Hluttaw in Nay Pyi Taw on 24 October at 2:30 pm.
During the meeting, matters on promoting cooperation between UN organizations and Myanmar, democracy transition in Myanmar including development process for Hluttaw, regional peace and stability and works on socio-economic development were discussed. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw U T Khun Myat and officials from the office of Pyithu Hluttaw.
