A delegation led by Union Minister for Construction and Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing who attended the 7th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable – AMER 7 visited Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Public Company Limited in Thailand yesterday morning and the delegation was welcomed by the officials from the Company.
Next in the power station of the Company, the officials explainedthe condition of electricity generation using natural gas, electricity supply, and importation and distribution of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in the future. Both sides discussed about the cooperation in electricity and energy sector.
After that, the delegation looked around the Gas Control Station and turbines in the power station. Then, the delegation led by Union Minister departed from Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand and arrived at Yangon International airport at 6pm yesterday and the delegation was welcomed by departmental officials.
