Amyotha Hluttaw speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than attended the donated cash handing over ceremony at Myanmar Baptists Convention, Min Ye Kyaw Swar Road, Lanmadaw Township, Yangon.
The donated cash were collective donation of Christian churches in Myanmar and other organizations for the resettlement and development of Rakhine State. General Secretary of Federation of Catholic Bishop Myanmar Father Maoris Nyunt Wai prayed and spread loving-kindness. Then, Sayagyi Saw Pat Tric Luni, chairman of Myanmar Christian church council explained the reasons of the donation. Vice Chairman of Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance Resettlement and Development in Rakhine (UEHRD) as well as Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Win Myat Aye received the donated cash, Ks51.157 million handed over by representatives from Christian churches in Myanmar and other organizations. The Union Minister gave words of thank and certificates of honors.
General Secretary of Myanmar Evangelical Alliance Federation, Reverence Saya Dr Maoris Hlan Nar prayed and spread loving-kindness for the victims in Rakhine State and Chairman of Myanmar Baptists Convention reverence Saya Dr Al Zaw Latt prayed for bliss.
Attended at the meeting were Yangon Region Hluttaw Speaker U Tin Maung Tun and representatives from Christian churches in Myanmar and other organizations.
