President U Htin Kyaw received a delegation led by Lt. General Chansamone Chanyalath, Deputy Defence Minister of People’s Republic of Laos at the presidential palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
During the meeting, they discussed promotion of friendship, relation and cooperation between the two countries, border stability, peace and the rule of law and cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Union Minister Lt Gen Sein Win, Deputy Minister U Min Thu, Lao Ambassador to Myanmar and other responsible officials also attended the meeting.—Myanmar News Agency
