The University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow, Poland, conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration on U Phyo Min Thein, Yangon Region Chief Minister, on Monday, acknowledging his efforts for reforms and improvement of Yangon.
Officials of the university conferred the doctorate on U Phyo Min Thein at his residence in Yangon.
“I hope this award becomes a driving force for reforms in Myanmar,” said U Phyo Min Thein.
“The University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow, Poland, is monitoring those who are taking part in reforms and business administration and evaluating those who are able to carry out those reforms,” said U Phyo Min Thein.
The university also invited the Yangon Region Chief Minister to give a speech at the university.
