Union Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint received U.S. Ambassador to Myanmar H.E Mr. Scot Marciel yesterday afternoon at the hall of the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to the measures of the government to tackle issues in Rakhine State, international points of views, and the condition of two Reuters reporters who have recently been arrested. They also exchanged their views on freedom of press in Myanmar, it was learnt.
