State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi hosted a dinner in honour of a visiting delegation led by Lao People’s Democratic Republic (LPDR) Prime Minister Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, and his wife, Mrs. Naly Sisoulith, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
It was also attended by Vice President U Henry Van Thio and wife Dr. Shwe Hlwan, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and the Myanmar Ambassador to Laos while the Laotian delegation led by Thongloun Sisoulith, and his wife, Naly Sisoulith, were accompanied by the Laotian Ambassador.
Before the dinner, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and Lao Prime Minister Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith extended greetings.
After the dinner, the delegation was entertained with a cultural performance by artistes of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture at the Presidential Palace.—Myanmar News Agency
