Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing attended the opening ceremony of 2nd Global Renewable Energy (RE)-INVEST 2018, which was held at VigyanBhawan hall, New Delhi, India, on 2 October.
At the opening ceremony, United Nations General Secretary Mr. Antonio Guterres and Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi delivered speeches.
The three-day meeting will discuss matters related to investment of renewable energy sector and is set to be held from 3 to 5 October. During the meeting, they attended the energy minister level meetings and will discuss matters related to electrical power and energy sector.
