Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Ohn Maung and wife attended a ceremony commemorating the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey held at Sule Shangri-La Hotel, Yangon yesterday evening.
The ceremony starts off with the playing of the national anthems of Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Republic of Turkey.
Next Ambassador of Turkey to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Haydar Kerem Divanlioglu and Union Minister U Ohn Maung delivered messages of greeting.
Afterwards the Union Minister and wife, the Ambassador and wife cut the cake commemorating the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey and then took commemorative group photo.
The Ambassador and wife then hosted a dinner for the attendees. The event was attended by ambassadors and charge d’affaires of foreign embassies, UN resident representatives and invited guests. — MNA
