Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia who has been in Myanmar to attend the 2nd Meeting of Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation between Myanmar and Cambodia at the Presidential Palace on 1 February 2019.
During the meeting, the State Counsellor and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia discussed various issues on promoting bilateral relations, economic and socio-cultural cooperation, exchange of high level visit between the two countries and enhancing people-to-people contacts.
They also discussed to enhance cooperation among developing countries at the international fora in addressing the challenges facing them and in the areas of mutual interests.
Also present at the meeting were U Min Thu, Union Minister for the Office of the Union Government, U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation, Senior Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador of Cambodia to Myanmar and Senior Officials from Cambodia.—MNA
