Union Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Thein Swe receive Bangkok based Austria Ambassador to Myanmar Dr. Eva Hager at Union Minister’s guest hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon. During the meeting status of forming committees and works implemented toward implementing e-Government system, status of implementing e-ID system which was the priority work of an e-Government system, status of forming e-ID system work committee, status of collecting biographic and biometric data of people living in the country and issuing a unique ID number, status of implementing and practicing e-Government system in Austria, using modern technologies to make it a secure system, cooperation program of Austria toward Myanmar’s e-ID works and status of bilateral cooperation on implementing e-Government system were discussed. — MNA (Translated by Zaw Min)
