Senior General receives chinese vice foreign minister.
Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a Chinese delegation led by Vice Foreign Minister Mr Liu Zhenmin and General Xu Fenlin, Deputy Chief of Join Staff Department under China’s Central Military Commission (CMC) of the Chinese Communist Party in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the meeting, Mr Liu Zhenmin expressed China’s respect for Myanmar’s sovereignty and its support to peace and stability and national reconciliation efforts in Myanmar.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing clarified the backgrounds of KIA, TNLA and MNDAA armed groups which are fighting the government troops in northern Shan State and their violent attacks, and area clearance operations by the government troops there.
