Dr Pe Myint, Union Minister for Information, attended the ceremony for the paper reading on contemporary historical literature and the winter season book fair festival held yesterday morning, the third day of the event held in the compound of the central press on Theinbyu road in Botahtaung township, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Information.
The morning session of the paper reading ceremony was co-chaired by Dr Kyaw Win, Dr Tin Hlaing, (also known by his penname, Pho Hlaing), U Kyaw Naing (Htet Myet) with U Aung Myint Oo (Aung Myint Oo—M.A), the presenter of the paper introduced by Dr Kyaw Win.
U Aung Myint Oo read the paper titled “Historical Lessons on National Unity, Peace & Democracy recounted by Pyithu Yebaw,” and replied to questions raised by audience.
Afterward, the chairmen made their respective conclusions.
Dr Tin Hlaing then introduced the presenter U Nay Myo Aye( Nay Myo Aye) to those present at the ceremony. U Nay Myo Aye read the paper titled “Contemporary Historical Cartoons on Politics,” and replied to questions raised by interested persons.
The afternoon session was co-chaired by Dr Toe Hla, Dr Hla Maung and Daw Khin Hnin Oo (Khin Hnin Oo) with U Aye Nyein (Htun Aung Kyaw) the presenter of the paper introduced by Dr Toe Hla.
U Aye Nyein read the paper titled, “Analysis of Land Reform by the Parliamentary Government in the years 1950s from Historical Aspect,” and replied to the questions raised by the audience, with the conclusions of the chairmen made afterward.
Dr Hla Maung introduced U Than Win Shwe (Maung Than Win Shwe), who read the paper titled, “Contemporary Cooperatives Literature In The Modern History on Myanma Economy,” and answered the audience raised by the audience.
Then, chairmen gave their respective conclusions.
Chairmen and paper presenters were provided with gifts of honour and honoraria.
