Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw Mahn Win Khaing Than yesterday received H.E. Mr. Kozo Yamamoto, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet, State Minister for Regional Revitalization and General Secretary of Japan-Myanmar Parliamentary Friendship Association (JMPFA), and party at the Amyotha Hluttaw Hall, Nay Pyi Taw at 2:00 pm.
In the meeting, matters relating to human resources development, promoting friendship between the two parliaments, strengthening and cooperation of bilateral friendship were discussed. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw U Aye Tha Aung, members of Japan-Myanmar Parliamentary Friendship Association and officials from the Amyotha Hluttaw Office. —Myanmar News Agency
