Defence Services Commander-in-Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing welcomed Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces General Surapong Suwana-adth at Zeyathiri Beikman hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon with a ceremonial guard of honour.
After the welcoming ceremony, General Surapong Suwana-adth and Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held talks in the meeting hall. In the evening, the Senior General and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla hosted a dinner for Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces and wife.
Earlier in the day, Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces General Surapong Suwana-adth and party paid tribute to the martyrs and laid floral baskets at Mausoleum for Heroes in Nay Pyi Taw.
Then, Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces General Surapong Suwana-adth, wife Mrs. Vanvimol Suwana-adth and party paid homage to Shwedagon Pagoda and Botahtaung Pagoda and donated cash to pagoda trustees on 18 September morning.
