Union Attorney-General U Tun Tun Oo received UNICEF Country Representative Ms. June Kunugi and party at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, matters relating to enacting Children’s Rights Law, protecting the rights of children affected by armed conflicts, taking effective action against violators of Children’s Rights Law, approving addendum to agreement on Children’s Rights, and cooperation between UNICEF and Union Attorney General Office on protecting children’s rights were discussed.
Also present at the meeting were Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin, Directors-General Daw Khin Cho Ohn, U Min Swe and Dr. Thida Oo. — MNA
